The Ethiopian Translators Association (ETA) is led by a committed and democratically elected Management Team, entrusted with guiding the Association’s strategic direction and daily operations. This team was officially established during ETA’s Founding General Assembly on December 29, 2024, in Addis Ababa.
Rooted in the principles of transparency, accountability, and professional service, the Management Team ensures that all activities align with ETA’s mission of promoting excellence in Ethiopia’s translation and interpretation sector.

The Board provides high-level strategic oversight and defines the long-term vision of the Association. It ensures ETA remains aligned with its founding values, adapts to industry changes, and builds meaningful partnerships.

Our Auditors play a critical role in safeguarding the financial integrity and ethical standards of ETA. Through regular reviews and compliance checks, they ensure that the Association remains transparent, responsible, and trustworthy.
Each position within the Management Team is defined by the ETA Articles of Association and is subject to a fixed term of service. This structure promotes democratic renewal, institutional continuity, and fairness in governance.
